Attending to a ship in distress, Voyager picks up a dangerous and unwanted visitor: a member of the Borg killing Species 8472. Finding the alien alone and injured, Janeway plans to send it home, but Seven of Nine and a captured Hirogen hunter have other plans.

Prey:

Attempting to access messages from the Alpha Quadrant, Seven of Nine and Tuvok are captured by the Hirogen. Intelligent, but coldly violent, the Hirogen place great value on the dissected bodies of captured species. A Human and a Vulcan would make valuable and unusual trophies.
